Let's take a walk around the library and collect things from nature to make art with! For this activity we will walk around the library and find leaves, flowers, bark, and anything that inspires us to create nature rubbings with. We will also read a book together!
We are excited to announce that one of our Summer Reading Activities will be in partnership with the 4-H department at Cornell Cooperative Extension! The exact activity will be posted soon.
Shakari Bradley from the Chenango Health Network is teaching a workshop about PAX Tools. The workshop will cover simple strategies for teaching kids' behavior, resulting in reduced conflict, better relationships, helping children manage their own behavior and other lifelong benefits.
For the final Summer Reading Program activity, we are going to have fun making sidewalk chalk art and playing with bubbles! We can talk about our favorite books from this summer and what we liked about the summer reading program.
