Our Summer Reading Program kicked off on June 30 – stop in any time before then to sign up and get a SRP bag. Each Wednesday at 4 pm, we’ll be featuring FREE hero themed movies in our Community and Youth Services Room. This is the movie line-up: August 5 – Underdog; August 12 – the Lego Movie. Refreshments will be available (bottled water, cookies, candies), usually for $1 or less. Movie popcorn and a cup of juice is free!
Saturday, July 11, and also on August 15, Jess will be at the Farmers Market on Lafayette Park for a Story Time.
Lydia Adams Davis will be here for a Family Night Program on Thursday, July 30 at 6:30 pm. She is a singer and songwriter, and loves entertaining audiences of all ages.
Pop Art will be the subject of the evening for our Family Night Program on August 6 at 6:30 pm. Join artist Michael Albert in a hands-on cereal box collage workshop as part of this evening’s program; all materials will be supplied. This program is made possible in part with funds from Senator Libous BOOKS program.
The finale for the SRP, a Carnival, will be on Saturday, August 8 from 1 to 4 pm. There will be games and more for all to enjoy, a live DJ spinning tunes, and of course our
